This reconditioned gearbox is designed for Volkswagen Scirocco models fitted with the 2.0 TSI engine (1984 cm³, engine code CCZB), for the DSG 6 automatic gearbox referenced KNN. It replaces a worn or faulty unit with one that has been fully rebuilt in our workshop and is ready to be fitted to the vehicle.

Signs that your DSG 6 gearbox needs replacing

On this dual-clutch gearbox, several warning signs indicate wear: juddering or jerking during gear changes, slipping under acceleration, the gearbox warning light illuminated on the dashboard, delayed or rough gear shifts, a metallic noise in park or neutral, and a loss of power even when the engine is in good health. These symptoms warrant a prompt inspection of the gearbox before the fault worsens.

Reconditioning of the KNN gearbox

The gearbox is fully stripped down, and every component is cleaned and inspected. Internal wear parts are replaced: gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch. The dual-clutch assembly is among the components renewed during this reconditioning process.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is neither supplied nor included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and it remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer during fitting.

Exchange basis – delivered without delay

Under this exchange arrangement, the reconditioned gearbox referenced KNN is dispatched before the old unit is collected. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the new gearbox has been delivered and fitted, so the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is not left off the road. Return of the old gearbox remains mandatory, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and payment

This reconditioned gearbox comes with a 24-month parts warranty, valid subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
