How this gearbox is reconditioned

The gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected component by component. Gears, synchromesh rings, bearings and seals are replaced as required based on their condition. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and tested on a bench before dispatch, ensuring performance in line with the original specifications.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and the vehicle's original mechatronic unit must be reused by your own mechanic. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included with this gearbox reference TAH.

Compatibility

This DSG 7 gearbox is compatible with vehicles fitted with engine codes CBAB, CFFB, CFGB, CUVC and DFGA, with an engine capacity of 1968 cm³.

Warranty and payment

This reconditioned gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, valid subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, with up to 10 instalments available.
