This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox for the Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 TDI (1968 cm³) is supplied under reference TFS, compatible with engine codes CBAB, CFFB, CFGB, CUVC and DFGA. It is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected before all internal wear components are replaced: gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested to confirm correct operation.

The original casing or block, kept intact, is only taken back after the reconditioned gearbox has been delivered and fitted, so the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is not off the road. Return of the old gearbox remains required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: it is neither supplied nor included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch, however, is supplied with this reconditioned gearbox.
