This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox for the Volkswagen Touran 1.6 TDI has an engine capacity of 1598 cm³, is compatible with CAYB and CAYC engine codes, and carries the reference LST. It is fitted to the Volkswagen Touran equipped with the 1.6 TDI diesel engine – a unit well known for the heavy demands placed on it by urban and motorway driving, which accelerates wear on the dual-clutch mechanism and internal components. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of all internal wear parts including gears, synchros, bearings and seals, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and bench testing. The dual-clutch assembly is supplied brand new with this LST reference gearbox.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic module is neither reconditioned nor tested, is not supplied or included in the sale, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer.

The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected once the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
