This reconditioned DSG 6 gearbox is designed for Volkswagen Touran models fitted with the 2.0 TDI engine, with an engine capacity of 1968 cm³, compatible with engine codes BKD, AZV, BMM and CFHC; it carries reference GYP. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, cleaning and inspection of every component, followed by replacement of gears, synchros, bearings and seals as required by wear found, before reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and bench testing.

This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis, rebuilt to 0 km. It is dispatched before the old unit is collected, so the garage is never left without a gearbox and the vehicle is not off the road. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted; return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold with the dual-clutch assembly, which is reconditioned as part of the mechanical unit. However, it is sold without the mechatronic unit: this is neither supplied nor included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer.
