The reconditioned gearbox for the Volkswagen Touran 2.0 TDI, reference NGB, is a 6-speed manual unit compatible with BKD, AZV, BMM and CFHC engines of 1968 cm³. On a diesel Touran, the gearbox is subjected to high torque from low revs, which gradually wears its internal components. Every NGB gearbox offered here is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected part by part before reassembly.

Reconditioning involves replacing all worn gears, synchros, bearings and seals, then rebuilding the unit to manufacturer tolerances; a bench test then validates the correct operation of every gear before dispatch.

The original casing, provided it has remained intact, is only taken back after the NGB gearbox has been delivered and fitted – meaning neither the garage nor the vehicle is left waiting for a prior return. Return of the old unit is nonetheless required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
