This reconditioned gearbox fits the Volkswagen Touran 2.0 TDI with an engine capacity of 1968 cm³, compatible with engine codes BKD, AZV, BMM and CFHC, under reference UEV. Reconditioning follows a rigorous process: the gearbox is fully stripped down, every component is cleaned and inspected, internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced, and the unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

Signs that your 6-speed manual gearbox needs replacing

This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: the reconditioned gearbox is dispatched and delivered first, allowing the garage to carry on working without leaving the vehicle on the ramp. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the UEV gearbox has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
