It is sold under reference PSP — a fully reconditioned dual-clutch gearbox engineered to restore smooth, reliable gear changes, even under the intensive commercial use to which a dual-clutch transmission is particularly exposed. The reconditioning process follows a rigorous procedure: complete strip-down, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of all internal wear parts including gears, synchros, bearings and seals, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and bench testing prior to dispatch.

The reconditioned gearbox is dispatched to the garage first, avoiding any interruption to service and keeping the vehicle off the ramp. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is not supplied or included in the sale — it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied new with this gearbox, reference PSP.
