This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for Volkswagen Transporter models fitted with a 2.0 TDI engine of 1968 cm³, compatible with engine codes CAAA, CAAB, CAAC, CFCA, CXFA, CXGA, CXHA and DJKA. It carries reference SDJ and replaces a gearbox worn out by heavy-duty van use.

This reconditioned gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected component by component. Any gears, synchros, bearings and seals showing signs of wear are replaced. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch, ensuring performance that meets the original factory specification.

Exchange Basis – Your Workshop Keeps Running

Under this exchange arrangement, the reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox reference SDJ is dispatched to your workshop first. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the new unit has been delivered and fitted – so there is no need to take the vehicle or the ramp out of action while waiting for a prior return. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

What Is Not Included

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: it is neither supplied nor included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by your own means. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied new with this gearbox.

Warranty and Payment

This reconditioned gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment for your order can be spread over several instalments, with up to 10 instalments available.
