This reconditioned 5-speed manual gearbox for the Volkswagen Transporter 2.5 TDI, reference DRH, is suitable for vehicles fitted with the 2461 cm³ engine coded AXD, AXE, BNZ or BPC. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals, and reassembly to manufacturer tolerances before a bench test.

On this range, the customer sends in their own DRH-referenced gearbox. It is reconditioned in our workshop and returned to the customer ready to fit – this is not a swap for a different gearbox. The service does not include the transfer case: this component is neither reconditioned nor tested; it remains the vehicle's original unit and must be reused by the customer during reassembly.

Warranty and payment

This rebuilt gearbox comes with a 24-month parts warranty, valid subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment for your order can be spread over multiple instalments, up to 10 instalments.
