Signs That Your Gearbox Needs Replacing

Several warning signs point to wear on a manual gearbox in a Transporter used for commercial purposes: increasingly stiff gear changes, a crunch when changing down, vibrations in neutral, third or fifth gear jumping out under load, or a visible oil leak at the casing. Exchange Basis: Your Old Unit Collected After Delivery

This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: the reconditioned unit is dispatched first, before the old gearbox is collected. The workshop is therefore never left without a part and the vehicle is not off the road waiting for a return. Once the reconditioned gearbox has been delivered and fitted, the old gearbox – casing and block intact – must be returned; this return is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and Payment

This reconditioned gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, valid subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
