This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your BMW Série 3 is not left off the road during the process. The part is covered by a 12-month parts warranty, provided fitting is carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Fitting advice for the N47N engine
On this diesel unit, turbo longevity depends greatly on the quality and frequency of oil changes, the condition of the air filter, and keeping the intake free from contamination. Before fitting the new turbo, check the oil circuit, the cleanliness of the boost hoses, and ensure there are no carbon deposits in the heat exchanger or intercooler that could contaminate the new part. Always prime the turbo with oil before the first start-up to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings and prevent premature seizure.
