Exchange and warranty for your Classe B
This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required. However, it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted to your Classe B, so your vehicle is not left off the road during the process. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before fitting to the OM 607.951 engine
On OM 607.951 engines fitted to the Classe B, premature turbo failure is most commonly caused by inadequate lubrication: poor-quality oil, infrequent oil changes or a clogged oil filter. A blocked air filter or a damaged intercooler can also cause an air deficit or excess pressure that is harmful to the turbo. Before installing the new turbo, carefully inspect the oil circuit, the condition of the lubrication hoses, the cleanliness of the air intake and check for any leaks at the heat exchanger. When starting the engine for the first time, prime the oil circuit before the initial start-up to ensure immediate lubrication of the turbo bearings.
