A turbo built for the working demands of the Renault Trafic

The Renault Trafic fitted with a 1.9 dCi engine is first and foremost a working vehicle: urban deliveries, short runs and frequent restarts, often at maximum payload. This intensive use — regularly involving cold starts and little time to cool down — puts the turbocharger under considerable strain and accelerates wear in the oil circuit if maintenance is not kept up to scratch. This new turbo, compatible with reference 751768-5005S, is designed to restore the vehicle's full responsiveness and load capacity without any compromise on reliability.

Compatibility with Trafic 1.9 dCi engines

This new turbo is compatible with the 1.9 dCi engines found in the Renault Trafic, across the 82, 100/101, 105 and 110 hp variants, associated with engine codes F9Q, F9Q718, F9Q732, F9Q733, F9Q740, F9Q752, F9Q754, F9Q760, F9Q762 and D4192T4. Before placing an order, it is strongly recommended that you check the reference printed on the old turbo as well as the engine code shown on the identification plate, as certain power variants share very similar but not strictly identical parts.

Exchange and warranty for your Trafic

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of the old turbo is required, but it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Trafic is not left off the road. The part comes with a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment for your order can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

Fitting advice to protect your new turbo

On a 1.9 dCi engine used in a commercial capacity, turbo failure is most commonly caused by insufficient lubrication, poor-quality oil or neglected oil changes, a clogged air filter, or a damaged intercooler. Before fitting, the oil circuit, hose condition and air intake should all be checked to prevent any contamination of the new turbo. On first start-up, it is recommended to prime the turbo with oil to ensure immediate lubrication from the moment the Trafic is first started.
