This reconditioned gearbox is supplied for the Audi A3 fitted with the 2.0 TDI engine (1,968 cm³) and corresponds to reference KCU. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down, thorough cleaning and inspection of every internal component, replacement of gears, synchros, bearings and seals as required by wear found, reassembly to manufacturer tolerances, and a bench test before dispatch.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: it is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and the vehicle's original unit should be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included with this KCU reference.
