This reconditioned DSG 6 gearbox is designed for owners of a Skoda Superb fitted with a 2.0 TDI engine of 1968 cm³, compatible with engine codes BKP, CBBB, CFFB, CFGB, CLJA, CRLB and DFHA, under reference KCU. The reconditioning process involves fully stripping the gearbox, cleaning and inspecting every component, then replacing all wear items such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch, ensuring it performs exactly as it did when new.

On a Superb 2.0 TDI, a worn DSG 6 gearbox often makes itself known through juddering on gear changes, shuddering at low speed in town traffic, an automatic gearbox warning light on the dashboard, slipping under acceleration, or a metallic noise when the selector is in park. Limp-home mode, which locks the vehicle in a single gear, is also a common sign that work on the KCU gearbox is required.

Exchange basis: immediate delivery, deferred return of your old gearbox

Under this exchange arrangement, the reconditioned KCU gearbox is delivered to you first, before your old unit is collected. Your used gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the new gearbox has been delivered and fitted, so your vehicle is never left off the road. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
