Reconditioned Audi A3 2.0 TDI S tronic 6 Gearbox – Reference PUH
This reconditioned gearbox is designed for the Audi A3 2.0 TDI fitted with the S tronic 6 transmission, for 1968 cm³ engines carrying the codes BKD, AZV, BMM, BMN, CBAB, CFFB, CFGB, CBBB, CRBC, CRFC, CLHA, under reference PUH. Reconditioning includes a full strip-down, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of gears, synchros, bearings and seals, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and bench testing.
Signs that your S tronic 6 gearbox needs replacing
On a dual-clutch transmission such as the S tronic 6, several warning signs should not be ignored: juddering or jerking at low speed, slipping felt under acceleration, the gearbox warning light illuminated on the dashboard, clunking or jolting during gear changes, the transmission dropping into limp mode with a restricted speed, or an unusual smell after a long journey. These symptoms often point to internal wear that warrants replacing the PUH gearbox.
Exchange basis – back on the road without lengthy downtime
This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: it is rebuilt to 0 km and dispatched before the old unit is collected. The garage is therefore never left without a part, and the vehicle is off the road for as short a time as possible. Once the reconditioned gearbox has been fitted, the old gearbox – casing intact – must be returned; this return is mandatory in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is neither reconditioned nor tested and remains the vehicle's original unit, which the customer must reuse. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included with this reconditioned gearbox.
