Reconditioned means the gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected component by component; internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced, before being reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and given a final bench test. This process restores performance equivalent to that of a new gearbox, for reference LQZ as for all other S tronic 6 units.
