This reconditioned gearbox for the Volkswagen Scirocco 2.0 TSI fits the 1984 cm³ petrol units paired with engine code CCZB, and carries the reference LQZ. It is a direct replacement for the original DSG 6 gearbox, requiring no wiring or associated electronics modifications. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down, cleaning and inspection of every internal component, replacement of all wear items including gears, synchros, bearings and seals, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and bench testing.

Return of the old unit is nonetheless required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Exclusions for this LQZ reference

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit for the customer to reuse. The dual-clutch assembly is, however, included with this reconditioned gearbox.

Compatibility

This DSG 6 gearbox is compatible with Volkswagen Scirocco 2.0 TSI models fitted with engine code CCZB. It may also be suitable for other Volkswagen Group vehicles sharing the same 2.0 TSI engine and engine code, subject to verifying the LQZ reference before ordering.

Warranty and payment

This reconditioned gearbox comes with a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. This warranty covers the part itself in the event of a proven fault. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
