This reconditioned DSG 6 gearbox for the Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI, reference HXU, is designed for vehicles fitted with a 1896 cm³ diesel engine with engine codes AGR, ALH, ASV, ATD, AXR, BKC, BXE or BLS. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down, thorough cleaning and rigorous inspection of every component, replacement of all internal wear parts including gears, synchros, bearings and seals, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and a bench test prior to dispatch. Reference HXU ensures performance fully in line with the original manufacturer's specifications.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included and reconditioned as part of the complete HXU gearbox.

Exchange Basis: Your Vehicle Is Never Off the Road

Under this exchange arrangement, the reconditioned gearbox is dispatched first, before the old unit is collected. Your old gearbox, with its casing or block intact, is only collected after the HXU gearbox has been delivered and fitted, so the axle is never left immobilised. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
