Reconditioned Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDI Gearbox – Ref. QMN
This gearbox for the Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDI is reconditioned to restore performance identical to the original specification. Reference QMN corresponds to a 6-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox with a 1968 cm³ engine capacity. The QMN reference is fitted in particular to the RS version of the Octavia 2.0 TDI 184 hp. Reconditioning follows a rigorous process: complete strip-down, cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and bench testing before dispatch.
Signs That This DSG Gearbox Needs Replacing
On an Octavia fitted with the QMN reference, several warning signs should not be ignored: juddering or jolting during gear changes, delayed or harsh shifts, a gearbox warning light on the dashboard, abnormal vibrations or noises while driving, and sometimes the gearbox becoming stuck in limp-home mode. These symptoms generally indicate internal wear within the DSG gearbox, requiring a full reconditioning rather than a one-off repair.
Exchange Gearbox – Ready to Fit
This QMN gearbox is offered as an exchange unit rebuilt to 0 km. It is sold without the mechatronic unit; this electronic component is not included in the sale, is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied new: the reconditioning service does not include the mechatronic unit, but your gearbox is returned to you with a brand-new dual-clutch. With the exchange basis, the reconditioned gearbox is dispatched first so that your vehicle is not left off the road; your old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the EDEN BOITES unit has been delivered and fitted, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions, which require its return.
Warranty and Payment
This QMN gearbox comes with a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
