This reconditioned DSG 6 gearbox is designed for the Volkswagen Scirocco 2.0 TSI fitted with the CCZB engine (1984 cm³), under reference KCZ. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every internal component, followed by replacement of all wear parts including gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

This reconditioned gearbox is dispatched before your old unit is collected. Your original gearbox – casing and block intact – is only recovered after the KCZ gearbox has been delivered and fitted, so the vehicle is never left standing whilst awaiting the exchange. Return of the old unit is nonetheless required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit to be reused by your installer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied new with this KCZ reference gearbox.
