Exchange basis and warranty on this turbo

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of the old turbo is required. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so that the Citroën C5 is not left off the road during the process. The part is covered by a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over up to 10 instalments.

Fitting advice for your C5 1.2 PureTech

Before fitting the turbo, check the condition of the oil circuit, the cleanliness of the oil feed and return hoses, and ensure there are no residues in the air intake or intercooler. On this engine, a clogged air filter or degraded oil between services can cause premature fouling of the turbo vanes. Follow the manufacturer's recommended service intervals and specified oil grade strictly. When starting up for the first time, prime the turbo with oil before the initial start, then allow the engine to idle for a few moments before putting it under load, to ensure even lubrication of the bearings from the very first revolutions.
