Reconditioned Audi S3 2.0 TFSI Gearbox – Reference KNC
This reconditioned gearbox for the Audi S3 2.0 TFSI (1984 cm³) is a 6-speed S tronic dual-clutch unit, reference KNC, compatible with engine codes CDLA, CDLB and CJXC. This automatic transmission equips the sporting version of the range, renowned for the speed of its gear changes but also for its susceptibility to internal wear when servicing is delayed. The gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected; gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced according to the wear found, then the whole unit is reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.
Signs That Your S tronic Gearbox Needs Replacing
Several warning signs should alert the driver of an Audi S3 fitted with this S tronic 6: juddering or jerking during gear changes, slipping under acceleration, a "gearbox fault" warning message on the dashboard, jolts when selecting D or R, unusual noises at idle, vibrations through the gear selector during hard acceleration, or a noticeable loss of power during spirited driving. These symptoms are often indicative of internal wear requiring gearbox replacement.
Exchange Basis: Immediate Delivery, Deferred Return
This gearbox, reference KNC, is sold on an exchange basis: the reconditioned unit is dispatched first, without waiting for the old gearbox to be returned, so that your vehicle is not left off the road. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the new unit has been delivered and fitted; its return remains required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
What Is Not Included
This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied new with this gearbox.
Compatibility
This S tronic 6 gearbox, reference KNC, is compatible with 2.0 TFSI engines bearing codes CDLA, CDLB and CJXC as fitted to the Audi S3. It is recommended that you verify the KNC reference against the reference shown on the label of your original gearbox before purchasing.
Warranty and Payment
This gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
EDEN BOITES supports you from quote through to collection of the old unit.
