Reconditioning involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every internal component, followed by replacement of all wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.
