From 2006 to 2020, the Citroën Jumper 3.0 HDi went through two generations of engine block without any change to the type of transmission: the 6-speed manual gearbox remained the only configuration available throughout the entire period. The changeover occurred around 2011, when the code F1CE0481D gave way to the F1CE3481E. These two codes correspond to distinct mechanical variants, and the gearbox associated with each is not compatible with the other generation.

Why the year alone is not enough to identify the correct part

In this range, the first registration date gives an indication, but it is the engine code stamped on the block that confirms the exact match. A Jumper registered in 2011 may carry either code depending on its precise build date and chassis configuration. Mixing up the two generations risks a dimensional or flange incompatibility.

Two reconditioning options available

Gearboxes in this range are offered in two forms: the standard exchange, or a rebuild of your own unit, where your gearbox is reconditioned and returned to you. This second option may offer a technical advantage when the original gearbox carries specific adaptations related to the chassis or the vehicle's mileage.
