This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required, but it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your BMW Série 4 is never left off the road. It carries a 12-month parts warranty, provided fitting is carried out by a professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Fitting advice before installing the turbo on your 418d
On the B47 and N47 engines fitted to the Série 4, turbo life depends heavily on the quality and frequency of oil changes, as well as the condition of the air filter, since CHRA lubrication is directly affected by degraded oil or inadequate filtration. Before fitting, also check the condition of the hoses and intercooler, which can crack with age and cause an air leak that affects boost pressure. When starting the engine for the first time, prime the oil circuit before the initial start-up to avoid running the turbo dry.
