No. Although the 1.4 Turbo spans a continuous range from 2009 to 2015, two engine codes were used in succession: A14NET and A14NEL. These two engines do not always share the same Getrag gearbox, and the associated references — GETRAG-AZN, GETRAG-BKN, GETRAG-BXH or M22 — vary according to the engine generation and the vehicle's year of manufacture. Identifying the engine capacity alone is not enough: the engine code is the essential starting point before making any selection.

Known weaknesses and points to watch on this gearbox

The Getrag 6-speed manual paired with the 1.4 Turbo is generally robust, but several recurring symptoms indicate wear: stiff or imprecise gear changes, bearing noise while driving, vibration felt through the gear lever, or oil leaks at the output shaft seal.
