807 2.0 HDi engine: six engine codes between 2002 and 2014

The 807 received just one diesel engine capacity, the 2.0 HDi, but this block was produced in six distinct engine codes over the production run: RH02, RHK, RHW, UFBA, UFDA and UFDB. These codes are not equivalent: they correspond to different power outputs and injection generations. The year alone is not sufficient to identify the correct part; only the code stamped on the engine confirms the exact reference.

The earliest 807s (from 2002) carry the RH02, RHK and RHW codes, whilst the UFBA, UFDA and UFDB codes appear on later model years. Mixing up these families causes incompatibility at the gearbox interface or engine mounts. The only purchasing option available is on an exchange basis: the engine is supplied as a bare unit.
