On this shared engine platform, two transmissions exist side by side: the conventional 5-speed manual and the Quickshift, an automated manual gearbox. These two types are not mechanically interchangeable, and the engine code alone does not determine which gearbox is fitted — the vehicle's configuration (variant, intended use, market) is the deciding factor. It is therefore essential to confirm the type of transmission fitted to the vehicle before placing any order.

Rebuild on your own unit or exchange: two options depending on the condition of the casing

On this generation, the casing may show cracks or distortion caused by impacts during commercial use. If the shell is sound, rebuilding the customer's own unit remains an option; if not, exchange against a reconditioned unit is the appropriate route. Both options are available within this scope.
